Ms. Cristina Mardari was selected as regional Anti-corruption Initiative (RAI) Secretariat Intern for the period July – September, 2017.
Ms. Mardari got her Bachelor and Master in Law at The State University of Moldova. During the internship period, Ms. Mardari had a chance to participate at UNODC Multi-stakeholder Workshop on Strengthening Civil Society Capacity on the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and its Review Mechanism, which was held from 25 – 29 September in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also took an active role in updating RAI website with different content, including publishing anti-corruption news and updating the mapping of the anti-corruption entities and relevant anti-corruption legislation in South East Europe.
Finally, Ms. Mardari had an opportunity to participate in Secretariat’s everyday activities such as staff meetings and planning sessions as well as project development sessions, which enabled her an inside look into work of a regional organisation, as well as RAI’s anti-corruption activities.
