Georgi Tasev, a PhD candidate at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria, specializing in Economy, Governance, Defense, and Security, interned at the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) Secretariat from October to December 2024. His academic expertise and commitment to anti-corruption work enabled him to become a valuable part of the team, particularly through sharing his contributions to the Erasmus+ project on “Development and Implementation of Anti-Corruption Education Programs for Universities in Bulgaria, Greece, and Croatia.”
At RAI Secretariat, Georgi worked on updating of the Knowledge Hub, assisted with day-to-day activities, including the in the planning and reporting processes related to the implementation and of the ongoing anti-corruption projects and programmes. Balancing his doctoral studies and internship, he demonstrated strong analytical skills, proactive engagement, and dedication to advancing anti-corruption initiatives in Southeast Europe.
