Programme - Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative

The Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) Secretariat has the honour to present the Programme Framework for the 2026–2028 period, developed in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in combating corruption and in close consultation with its member countries and partners. This Programme reflects a shared commitment to advancing integrity, accountability, and resilience across Southeast Europe, guided by the vision captured in the Initiative’s motto: Integrity in Action — United Against Corruption for a Better Future.

The RAI Programme 2026–2028 represents a strategic consolidation of national priorities, regional requirements, and international commitments in the field of anti-corruption. It is intended to inform the broader anti-corruption community and all relevant stakeholders of RAI’s strategic orientation and planned actions, while reinforcing transparency, cooperation, and alignment with European and international standards and processes.

This Programme is the outcome of collaborative efforts undertaken by the RAI Secretariat in partnership with representatives of member countries, as well as institutional and international stakeholders engaged in regional anti-corruption processes. Their continued engagement and ownership are indispensable for ensuring coherence, sustainability, and effectiveness in the Programme’s implementation.

The RAI Secretariat also wishes to express its appreciation to its partners for their valuable expertise, constructive dialogue, and sustained support during both the preparation of this Programme and the implementation of previous strategic cycles. Their contribution remains instrumental in strengthening regional cooperation and advancing the collective fight against corruption.
