Ukrainian ARMA Joins RAI as an Observer

Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) is welcoming a new Observer: the Asset Recovery and Management Agency of Ukraine (ARMA). Both organisations are dedicated to increasing transparency and integrity of public administration, raising awareness of anti-corruption, and promoting of anti-corruption mechanisms.

This partnership will further strengthen RAI’s cooperation with Ukrainian anti-corruption bodies, including the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) and the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), both of which are Observers (RAI has a total of seven at the moment).

ARMA is a special governmental body, authorized to formulate and implement state policy on tracing and finding assets that are subject to seizure, as well as management of seized assets in criminal proceedings. It was founded in February 2016. For more information, visit the ARMA website.
