Regional Momentum for Justice and Anti-Corruption: Western Balkans Leaders Unite in Sarajevo

A historic moment for the Western Balkans, captured in 90 seconds

In early October 2025, Sarajevo became the regional capital of justice reform and anti-corruption efforts, hosting the Berlin Process Regional Event on Integrity, Transparency, and Good Governance.

For the first time, Ministers of Justice from across the Western Balkans gathered on one stage, joined by policymakers, regional institutions, civil society, and international partners. Together, they shared insights and commitments to advance justice sector integrity and strengthen regional cooperation in the fight against corruption.

“This event marks a turning point for justice collaboration in our region — a shared commitment to transparency and accountability,” said one of the participating Ministers.

The event drew over 100 participants and received extensive media attention, with 35 outlets broadcasting nationwide and over 100 media mentions across the region. This strong public engagement underscored the growing recognition that integrity and good governance are essential for sustainable progress in the Western Balkans.

The gathering highlighted RAI’s ongoing mission to promote anti-corruption standards, integrity mechanisms, and public sector transparency — while fostering dialogue between governments and citizens.

The short video captures the essence of the event — the voices, the vision, and the regional unity behind a cleaner, fairer future.
