New Report: Towards a Standardised EU Risk Analysis Framework for Asset and Interest Disclosure Systems

The Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI), in partnership with the Centre for Security and Crime Sciences (CSSC), the Centre for the Study of Democracy (CSD), the Romanian National Integrity Agency (ANI), and the Italian Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC), is proud to present the new Report on the Standardised EU Risk Analysis Framework and Roadmap for Implementing Automated and Digital AID Systems.

This report, developed under the EU-funded qAID Project, maps the current state of Asset and Interest Disclosure (AID) systems in EU Member and Candidate States, focusing on risk analysis methods, “red flag” indicators, and best practices for digitalisation.

Key highlights:

  • Comprehensive country profiles of 10 EU Member and Candidate States, analysing their risk analysis mechanisms.
  • Best practices and recommendations for building an effective, risk-based, and digitally supported AID system.
  • A roadmap for automation, including interoperability, machine-readable data, and integration with public databases.

The findings aim to help national authorities strengthen preventive tools, enhance the detection of irregularities, and boost public trust through transparent and modernized AID systems.
