A New Motto for a New Era: RAI Celebrates 25 Years United Against Corruption!

The Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) is pleased to announce the winning proposal for its new motto, selected as part of the organisation’s 25th anniversary celebrations. The Public Procurement Commission of Albania (Komisioni i Prokurimit Publik) has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for submitting the selected motto:

🌟 “Integrity in Action: United Against Corruption for a Better Future.”

This motto will accompany RAI’s work throughout its 25th anniversary year, reflecting the organisation’s long-standing commitment to strengthening transparency, accountability, and integrity across Southeast Europe.

Recognition Ceremony

The Certificate of Appreciation was formally presented by Mr. Albert Hani, MSc, RAI Secretariat Director, together with Ms. Rovena Pregja, Director at the General Directorate for Anti-Corruption and Deputy Representative of Albania at the RAI Steering Group.

Representing the Public Procurement Commission of Albania, Mr. Alban Permeti, Advisor to the Chairperson, and Ms. Bevisa Qosja, Foreign Relations and Integration Specialist, received the award on behalf of the institution.

A Regional Call for Creativity

The motto competition was launched as part of last year’s International Anti-Corruption Day activities, inviting individuals and institutions from across the region to propose a phrase that captures RAI’s mission and values. Submissions were evaluated based on their reflection of RAI’s core pillars:

4. Regional cooperation

The winning motto was selected for its strong message, clarity, and alignment with RAI’s vision for the next decade of anti-corruption cooperation.

The new motto encapsulates RAI’s forward-looking approach and reinforces its dedication to fostering a culture of integrity throughout the region.
