Call for Proposals: New Motto for the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative

As the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) prepares to celebrate 25 years of advancing transparency, accountability, and regional cooperation, we invite creative minds to propose a new organizational motto. This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on RAI’s journey and envision its future.

RAI invites proposals for a new organizational motto that reflects the essence of our mission and values. We encourage individuals, organizations, and communities within our network to participate actively in this collaborative creative process.

The proposed motto should reflect RAI’s core principles of transparency, accountability, integrity, and regional cooperation. The submissions should emphasize originality and the ability to inspire action, pride, and alignment with RAI’s mission.

Submission Details

Each participant may submit a motto proposal that includes the following:

Motto Characteristics:

• The motto must be short, impactful, and memorable (not exceeding 10 words).
• It should reflect RAI’s mission, values, and vision.
• The motto must be original and not previously used by other entities or organizations.

Explanation:

A brief explanation (up to 150 words) of how the motto captures RAI’s principles and aspirations.

Language:

The motto and its explanation must be in English.

RAI reserves the right to translate the motto into the languages of its member states.

Submission Deadline: April 9, 2025

Evaluation Criteria

The selection committee will evaluate submissions based on the following:

• Clarity: How well the motto communicates RAI’s mission and values.
• Originality: Uniqueness and creativity of the proposal.
• Applicability: Suitability for use across RAI’s initiatives and platforms.

Reward for the Winning Proposal

The winner will receive:

• A Certificate of Appreciation recognizing their contribution.
• Public Acknowledgment on RAI’s website and social media channels.
• A set of RAI-branded merchandise as a reward of appreciation.
