SEE Women Good Governance and Anticorruption Leaders Forum took place in Skopje, North Macedonia today, March 23rd 2023.
This is a launching event for establishing the Southeast Europe Women Good Governance and Anticorruption Leaders Forum, initiated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Government of the Republic of North Macedonia in charge of good governance policies and supported by RAI, UNWOMEN and UNODC. The purpose of the Forum is to create a regional network of women leaders who strive to strengthen the leadership of women in society, through professional development and international networking to exchange best practices, experiences, and mutual support to build better societies for all.
The second panel, moderated by the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of good governance policies Ms Slavica Grkovska, was dedicated to youth and media. The panel was an important platform for youth to engage with media representatives and anti-corruption experts and discuss issues related to anti-corruption and youth awareness. It provided an opportunity for young people to voice their concerns and contribute to the ongoing fight against corruption, promoting a more transparent and accountable society.
