“Corruption still permeates all spheres of the region’s societies, it was said at the opening of the regional conference „Good governance and Anti-Corruption in Southeast Europe in Times of Geopolitical Uncertainty“, organized by SELDI Network and Centar Savremene Politike EU-RS Think-Tank.
The conference took place in Belgrade, Serbia, and RAI was represented by the Senior Anti-Corruption Advisor, Mrs. Aneta Arnaudovska. Aneta presented the activities in assisting states to fulfill the recommendations deriving from the international monitoring mechanisms with a focus on the newest integrity challenges and corruption risks in the judiciaries in the SEE.
Many regional experts from the field participated in the conference and contributed to the high-quality discussion, among them HE Mr. Christopher Hill, U.S Ambassador in Serbia, and Mr. Vladimir Georgiev, Member of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption of North Macedonia.
