Regional Anti-corruption Initiative (RAI) held a Training on Corruption Proofing of Legislation in Pristina, Kosovo* on 11 December 2017.
The Training was organized in cooperation with the UNDP Kosovo* and the Kosovo* Anti-Corruption Agency (KACA) under the auspice of the Regional Programme on Strengthening the Capacity of Anti-corruption Authorities and Civil Society to Combat Corruption and Contribute to the UNCAC Review Process, which is implemented by RAI Secretariat in partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
The objective of the Training was to build the capacity of the institutions and civil society in conducting corruption proofing of legislation in Kosovo*, by learning how to review the form and substance of drafted or enacted legislation in order to detect and minimize the risks of corruption that the rules could facilitate.
