The First Plenary Session of the Network of Prevention of Corruption Authorities (NCPA) in 2022 was held on February 8, 2022. The Session was chaired by the Mr. Angelos Binis, Governor of the National Transparency Authority of Greece.
As the new partner of the Network, Regional Anti-corruption Initiative participated at the 1st Annual Plenary Meeting, which was chaired by the National Transparency Authority (NTA) of Greece for the first time, following the selection of 2022 NCPA leadership.
A fruitful exchange of views took place around the 2022 Annual Work Plan, which includes various interventions in four core areas (see summary below). RAI’s Senior Anti-corruption Advisor, Ms Aneta Arnaudovska expressed strong support of the Regional Anti-corruption Initiative for the activities envisaged in the thematic pillars and readiness for cooperation with its in-house and external expertise.
NCPA remains committed to working towards the establishment of an international network of relevant public authorities for the detection and prevention of corruption, with a view to promoting the systematic collection, management, and exchange of information, intelligence, and good practices among these authorities, in partnership with interested international institutions (such as the Council of Europe’s Group of States against Corruption).
