Under the framework of the Regional Project: Combating Corruption in the Western Balkans: Strengthening regional cooperation in the field of asset recovery, AIRE Centre and the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative organised the training on Standards and Practice in Asset Recovery, with the support of the United Kingdom Government.

Training gathered more than 100 judges, prosecutors, judicial associates and judicial academies’ trainees from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia in an online format on February 7, 2022. The objective of the training was to provide participants with essential knowledge on the importance of asset recovery, an overview of relevant jurisprudence, principles of identification and permanent seizure of proceeds of crime, as well as international and domestic standards for the extended asset confiscation.
